‘NATURAL ABILITIES’ is an assessment tool to identify our instinctive abilities, which we are good at and enjoy doing. This tool will produce a report that will help us reflect and take action to get ourselves and our teams into natural-ability areas to achieve spectacular success.

Locus of Control
‘Locus of Control' assessment gives an indication of the location of your control. Those with a high 'Internal Locus' score is able to make positive choices related to uncontrollable external situations and takes action to mitigate negative impact. Those with a high 'External Locus' allow themselves to be negatively impacted by external situations. This assessment helps leaders understand their mx of internal and external locus and is an effective reflection tool to improve purposeful leadership.

Leadership Style (Theory X - Theory Y)
‘Leadership Style' assessment is inspired by the Theory X - Theory Y concept introduced by Douglas McGregor. Theory Y managers are participative and they works towards engaging their team members for the success of their teams. Theory X managers are directive and use strict control measures to ensure their teams deliver results. This assessment helps leaders understand the leadership approach of their leaders and themselves. It is an effective reflection tool to improve purposeful leadership.

What Inspired the Creation of Purposeful Leadership Assessments?
Dr. Ranjan De Silva, Chief Catalyst of Purposeful Leadership (Pvt) Ltd., critically examined various assessment tools in response to the needs that arose during his leadership development work over the past 25 years and customised and/or developed tools to suit the practical realities of his clients. The development of these assessment tools were also informed and strengthened with the academic rigour developed during his doctorate. It helps clients understand conative, cognitive, and affective aspects of leadership to help them reflect and develop themselves and their teams to be be purposeful leaders.
